This Timber is regularised meaning it has consistent dimensions throughout. Once the Timber has been planed, it creates eased/rounded corners along the length for comfortable handling. Our Regularised Carcassing - once it has been planed - finishes at 2mm off its Nominal thickness and at 5mm off its Nominal width (see above). This particular size of timber is Kiln Dried. Avaliable in 2.4m and 3m Lengths - *subject to avalability.*
What is Kiln Dried? -Wood drying reduces the moisture content of wood before its use. When the drying is done in a kiln, the product is known as kiln-dried timber or lumber, where as air drying is the more traditional method.
